PREAMBLE

These general terms and conditions of sale are agreed between Expanding World, Lda. headquartered at Rua Barão de Forrester 768, 4050-272 Porto, Portugal, tax number 508 761 018, and contacts +351 226 104 023 and info@expanding.pt hereinafter referred to as the "EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY" and individuals who wish to make purchases through this website, hereinafter referred to as the "User."

The parties agree that purchases made through this website shall be governed exclusively by this contract, excluding any previously available conditions on the site.

 

ARTICLE 1 – OBJECTIVE

These general terms and conditions of sale aim to provide and define all necessary information to the User regarding ordering, sale, payment, and provision of services, made on this website. These conditions regulate all necessary steps for the acquisition and ensure the continuity of this service to the User. All payments made by the User are free of any operator fees.

 

ARTICLE 2 - GENERAL TERMS OF SALE

  1. Terms and Conditions

    By accessing and using this site to purchase tickets, the user agrees to the terms and conditions of sale established herein, as well as applicable privacy and cancellation policies.

  2. Acceptance of Terms

    By making a purchase on this site, the user confirms having read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of sale, agreeing to fulfill all obligations and responsibilities related to ticket purchases.

  3. Changes to Terms

    The site reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the site, and it is the user's responsibility to periodically review the updated terms.

 

ARTICLE 3 - ORDER / PURCHASE

  1. Purchase Process

    The ticket purchase process on this site involves selecting the desired ticket type, quantity of tickets, providing personal information, and secure payment through available methods.

  2. Ticket Availability

    Ticket availability is subject to event capacity and demand. The site will endeavor to keep availability information updated but does not guarantee continuous availability of tickets for all events.

  3. To place an order, the User must:

    Choose the available ticket type for the event, as well as the number of tickets on this website, providing the requested information there.

    Fill in the information and choose the available options during the order completion procedure (payment method, as well as the tax number and name for invoicing purposes).

    The User's final confirmation of the order implies full acceptance of prices and description of services available for purchase as well as these General Terms of Sale, which shall be the only applicable ones to the contract thus concluded.

    The EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY will honor ticket purchases received online. If the service is not available, the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.

    The data on the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once issued, the invoice cannot be changed and reissued.

 

ARTICLE 4 - PAYMENT METHODS

On this website, the Event Promoter Entity offers the User payment services by:

  • Multibanco references
  • MBWay
  • Credit Card VISA, Mastercard, and American Express

 

and these are securely processed through SIBS PAGAMENTOS, S.A., registered at the Commercial Registry of Lisbon, under the supervision of the Bank of Portugal, and registered in this institution under no. 8703, A/C DPO (Data Protection Officer) with headquarters at Rua Soeiro Pereira Gomes, lot 1, 1649-031, Taxpayer number 505107546 and Share Capital: €17,500,000.00.

In the case of credit card payment, the User's card will be debited immediately after filling in the fields with Credit Card details and personal information and confirming the data.

  1. Payment Security

    All payment transactions on this site are securely processed using encrypted protocols to protect user information. The site does not store confidential payment information, such as credit card numbers.

  2. Charges and Invoices

    The user will receive a purchase confirmation after successful payment completion. Any additional charges, such as processing fees, will be clearly indicated during the purchase process and reflected in the invoice or receipt sent to the user.

 

ARTICLE 5 - AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY OF ACCESS

The ticket(s) will be made available after confirmation of the payment made, via email.

  1. Ticket/Access Delivery

    Tickets or access to the event will be delivered electronically via email, available for download.

  2. Delivery Timeframes

    Ticket or access delivery times vary according to simultaneous ticket demand. The user should expect between 5 to 10 minutes to receive the email with the ticket.

 

ARTICLE 6 – PRICES

Prices are clearly displayed during the purchase process and should be understood in Euros, with charges and taxes included, considering the VAT in force at the date of payment of the order.

If the ticket prices increase, the User will be promptly informed and may choose to proceed with the order (paying the difference) or cancel it.

The user is responsible for reviewing and accepting prices and fees before finalizing the purchase.

 

ARTICLE 7 - CANCELLATION AND REFUND

The cancellation or refund procedure is handled on a case-by-case basis by the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY.

Whenever possible, the refund will be made through the same payment method, but if not possible, the user must provide proof of payment and account or card ownership for the refund to be made by Bank Transfer.

The EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY undertakes to refund the User within a maximum period of 30 days.

A refund processing fee of 5% will be applied.
Note: Only the order holder can request a refund of the payment, not another person, even if they received them as a gift.

  • Request Process

        To request a cancellation and refund, the user must contact the event's customer support for further assistance and guidance via connect@glex.pt.

    The request must be submitted in writing to the email, up to 14 days before service usage, and cancellation or refund instructions will be provided by the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY through the same communication channel.

    ARTICLE 8 - PRIVACY POLICY

    Data processing is carried out in compliance with legislation on personal data protection. They will be computer-processed, included in the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY's database(s), and used for recording and presenting other products and services, as well as institutional information provided by it.

    The provision of data is optional, and Users are guaranteed the right of access, rectification, or cancellation of any data concerning them directly, personally, or in writing directly to the address indicated on the homepage of this website, as provided by law.

     

    ARTICLE 9 – COOKIES

    Cookies are data files that we store on your computer while you visit this site. These Cookies include information that allows us to remember important data to make your navigation more effective and advantageous.

    This site uses cookies for various purposes, including obtaining non-personal data from online visitors.
